hey everybody i think i have a missunderstanding in a concept of VLANS specially inter trunk link
first want to say that VLANS used to devide the physical switch into multiple virtual switches ofcourse thats right sentense
but now if we want these VLANS talking with each others what should i do now ???
Link that switch to a Router
Encapsulate with 802.1Q
sub interfaces
according to what is in VLANS
but when i check the CCNP Books i found that in this simulation there is a strange thing that the PCs connected to the SWITCH have Ips not at the same range
so in this case we dont need to VLANS because we already separate them by subnetting or another IP Ranges
so now am i have a missunderstanding in something or there is a thing away from my mind for Trunking and VLANS ??
if you don't make vlans on the switch ,by default there is anative vlan and all whose pcs must be in the same subnet
and if u make different sunets without vlan ofcourse confusion will happen
