• Procedures:
2. A star LAN topology is chosen and each LAN includes 5 computers (clients).
3. The clients are connected through 6 port switch
4. The LAN is connected to an application server via a router
5. The assigned LAN can connect Internet (WAN) through a router. External Ethernet medium is assigned.
6. All groups are connected together through an additional central switch


• Analysis processes
1. A layout scheme is drawn for each LAN indicating the connection of different components of the
assigned LAN
2. The communication links with the other connected LANs and the external WAN
3. A list of network components, Cable lengths, Hardware and software is written.
