Help Transformation called /calling Party

Please help:



I would like to know what does the transformation called/Calling party do? When can I use them?
I understand that I am putting them in a partition and give the CSS to the gateway to match the number whenever it goes through this gateway.

Thank you Ahab for ur reply,
but what you have posted is not what I need because it's including transformation mask and NOT THE TRANSFORMATION CALLED AND CALLING PARTY
