External hard disk is mental

:mad: first of all how are you all i miss you so much science i moved to work in qatar iam busy all overbut sometimes my limtis of knolwge come to an end so i must ask the help from all of you
my problem is i bought external hard disk ikebana 60g.b and it was runing perfect till i borrowed to one of my friendsand he conected it to his laptop the hard disk is getting creazy

how?????
if i conecet it to adesktop computer form the rear usb port it will run perfect
but
but
if i connect it to alaptop or afront panal of adesktop computer it started to get sound like the sound of damdge media in ata harddisk and i got amessage of the windows saying "windows delayed file"
i use every formating tool to format it NOWAY
still the same
connect to desktop from behind dierct to motherboard =ok it works
but
if iconnect to alaptop or front panal of desktop=tic tic tic
only the sounds tic tic
i did low level format its not comleting and it says block error
also before it was coping so fast if iam coping full movie 700m.b it take one minutes
but
now
minimam 8minutes
what can i do
i cannot say its damge but its not working on the other usb port and all the computers runing windows xp
any body can help about that creazy proplem

فيقل سرعه دورانة في الاب توب فيصير نقل البيانات ابطأ ..!!

جرب علي لاب توب ثاني ... وشوف شو يعطيك ..!!

Thanks for replying me but it might be laptop usb power is less than but nowwhen i connect to any laptop or afront panal usb "NOT DIERCT CONNECT TO MOTHERBOARD USB"
its not working all what i got is just tic tic tic tic
all the windows on any computer i used is windows xp



so can any body check for taht IKEBANA hard disk external usb 60g.b any tell me how can i got it working like before
IKEBANA 60G.B 5400 RPM Its not firewalled
plese if any body can help
