New IT Security Certifications from EC-Council
EC-Council, vendors of the well-known Certified Ethical Hacker program, have created two new designations. Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA) certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Network Defense from a vendor-neutral perspective. The goal of the CNDA is to help the organization take preemptive measures against malicious attacks by attacking the system himself; all the while staying within legal limits. While the CEH certification program looks at the security in offensive mode, the second new certification, Network Security Administrator (NSA), looks at the network security in defensive view. Each certification requires passing a single exam, and associated courses are available.
