I'm new here in ArabHardware Family and i am hoping i can find some help here because I'm lost .
i got
2.4GHz Core 2 Quad Processor
GigaByte 6-Quad
2* 1GB (667) Ram
XFX NVIDIA GForce 6600 256MB
this is how my pc and i want to UPGrade my VGA Card but I'm confused because some told me that ATI like the best now specially the new coming generation but i havn't tried before so I'm worried .
i need your help to pick the right Card for performance and price (i can afford 200~400$) .
also i had problem with Nvidia Cards .. its Fan noise , some maybe think its not a problem to mention it but for it is and i think ATI doesn't have this problem but i need your help about that because I'm not experience with ATI VGA Cards .
some one on Computer Mall Recommended this model of ATI [ H.D 2900XT ] its 512 bit but i think its sorta expensive he said it costs 525$~ , so could you please give me more information about that Card and its price , and i'd like to know what is Recommended with Nvidia new Generation VGA Cards too .
I'm sorry about English but i have a problem with Arabic language at the moment .
by the way , I'm Egyptian guy so you can help me with prices there and how can i get cheaper cards than what they're selling here from outside .

u have to wait till the DX 10.1 cards hit the market in the high end series from both ATI/ nVidia
Q1 2008 isn't that far.
u can buy chaintech 8800GT for about 1590 LE
chaintech uses infamous memory modules called apogee, i don't trust products of this company at all
