>>>>>>>HOW DID I REACH THIS HIGH OVERCLOCK<<<<<<<

*1st problem: I had a very high Vdroop

ex: when I set 1.5v in bios I get 1.45v instead and drops more which leads to instability

Solution: Perform a Vdroop mod on the motherboard

?What does this mod do

- reduce the voltage drop by reducing the resistance value

How to perform one?

- Get a B2 grade pencil or higher and color the area shaded like in the picture

So now first step was done and the results were great
now I got a lower Vdroop which means lower voltage to add in the BIOS= lower temperature

Problem#2: The heatsint I have isn't and is not considered a top performer while the base was not flat and non reflective (machining job can still be seen)

Solution: Was to Lap the Heatsink base using different grades of sand paper. I used 500Grid then 2000Grid

This is how it will look like

While there was improvement in temperature I still needed more so I lapped the CPU too and this is how it looked

The results are in the first page Wink:

Hope this covered it all :rolleyes

Hope you liked it :D
